Great pub with a great burger! Love the old wood that surrounds the dining room! The 18 oz. Burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had. Perfectly cooked and juicy patty, complimented by tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, and slightly cured onion (to cut the potent flavor) stacked and wrapped neatly on a large but not dense bun. Good sized for two regular people, or one regular me. Service is spot on (Friday afternoon) with friendly and fast service.

Never been before, but was at the Bridal store right next door and my group just came right over to have a meal. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. We were seated right by the fireplace. The nachos were very tasty, but probably could have more meat on them. Pizza was delicious and the banana pudding was just what I needed to end the night on the right note. This place is not close to me, but if I am in the area again I would definitely revisit. Great place for a small group. Our waitress was on point as well!

Fun place with a good menu. The Ripper burger was about what you'd expect at a pub for lunchtime (just good) and the southwest chicken wrap was really good. I liked the rustic feel of the place and could've definitely had a few more drinks there if I had the time.

The spot is local for us, so we always enjoy going here. We usually don’t have a problem getting in even if they are busy. When they are busy, we are happy to take a booth table in the bar. This place is known for their build your own burgers, but they also have a delicious pizza station. I would highly recommend the nachos. They are fantastic and the wings are also good. My favorite are the jerk wings and my husband loves the hot buffalo wings if you’re hungry and in the mood for a awesome burger I recommend that you get everything but the kitchen sink. It comes with french fries and onion rings on a fully loaded hamburger stop by have a bite drink a beer. Get a cocktail and thank me later because this is definitely a place you want to try

Great place for over the top burger, pizza, and beer. The selection of food has great combinations and food was prepared to our liking. Been here a few times and tried numerous things on the menu and all we slightly above average. Have a good beer selection on tap and craft bottles. Fills a good role in the area of over priced places but provides a nicely design atmosphere. Staff was very good and attentive.

My only complaint: gratuity was baked into the bill. I could see that happening at a crowded bar in Danbury on a college wing night, but I felt that Red Rooster is too classy for billing shenanigans. Come on guys. Top notch beer selection. Very good food. Pricing wasn't overly expensive.

This is a great pubby restaurant. We have been there several times. I hate to ding them but on our last visit, my wife ordered the French Dip - she was in the mood. The server dutifully took the order and then delivered the entree with - wait for it - NO DIP! Like, what? They explained they "ran out of dip". How is that possible? Like ordering a BLT and getting toast w/mayo & lettuce and your server shrugging their shoulders telling you they're out of bacon. This type of disconnect between staff & customers is a bad sign. A sign that someone is just trying to get through their shift. I ordered a pulled-pork Sammy that was pretty good and did indeed have pulled pork between the buns. The onion rings were enjoyed as well. But note to the staff: if you're out of key items that make up the menu - please inform your guests - BEFORE HAND!
